So this year, I'll switch it up a bit and share my favorite 16 Instagram posts of 2016. Even though I am a professional photographer, sometimes what comes from my cell phone surprises me! In reviewing my year, these 16 images were picked because they speak to me about my year and they speak to me as a visual person. I went back through my Instagram account (follow me here) and picked exactly 16 images... these 16 images... and that's how I knew this is what I would share.
My adventures in 2015 took me to many, many unexpected places; from Oregon to Tennessee, from below freezing temperatures to overwhelming heat from a very large fire. I feel like the last year pushed me outside my comfort zone but the work I created as a result is some of my favorite work yet! (Note: the very large fire was a training exercise conducted by a local fire department.)
In no particular order, the following are my favorite 15 images from 2015.
My mom and I visited Nashville, Tennessee for the first time a few weeks ago and from our 3 day visit we crammed so many top sites into our few days of adventure. We wanted to take full advantage of our time so we did more tours that wondering around the city, but we both claim we will be back some day for the 'walking around and see what we stumble upon' portion of our trip!
Today I am going to explain step-by-step how to build a photo booth from PVC pipe. Before building my photo booth I did a ton of Pinterest, DIY blog and online research but I still couldn't find any real step-by-step guides or lists of supplies. However, I complied a few popular designs and reinforced them with my own structural ideas so it would stand up against The Great Oklahoma Wind. (I also used 4- 20 pound sand bags to weight it down.) he supply list is included after the diagrams and pictures.
